The trading statement was positive in tone but contained few solid numbers apart from the very encouraging $32m in extra revenue from storm damage in the US.

Aggreko continues to perform poorly in Europe. Although sales increased slightly profits fell. High fuel prices discouraged customers from renting generators (as the cost of running them increased). Although the price rises increased revenues from fuel sales, this obviously also increased costs so the overall effect was to reduce margins fairly drastically.
