Admiral: 2005 results
Specialist motor insurer Admiral reported that core profits rose 21% to £122.1m for the year to December 2005. The company defines ‘core profits’ to be underwriting profits, profit commissions plus net other income.
The company’s pre-tax profits rose by a more modest 14.4% £119.4m while operating profits were up 13% to £121.6m.
