British Vita acquisition

Texas Pacific Group, a private equity firm proposed to acquire British Vita for £668m in cash. Texas Pacific Group proposed to pay 360p per share, while the shareholders will also receive the 6.25p final dividend.

This offer was accepted by the directors which rejected three previous offers. Initially, Texas Pacific Group offered 325p per share. The current offer (including the divided) is a 12.7% increase from the previous offer.
